The Fontaine SERIES 60 will prevent flows of water from returning back into pump discharge pipes at the end of the line. The gate design is made in such a way that the flap gate will not be damaged by the slamming action of sudden mass of water coming at high speed after the pump starts. These Flap gates are made to be bolted to a standard pipe flange, or to be anchored to concrete in front of the pipe end. Available to a maximum size of 24in (600mm).

The hinges of SERIES 60 flap gates use a self-lubricating UHMWPE bushing to prevent metal-to-metal contact, thereby reducing friction and easing the operation. Combined with the larger hinges and pivot arms, their heavy-duty bumper spring will aborb all shocks preventing damage to any part of the gate.

A resilient lip seal is used to achieve low leakage between the frame and flap. All our Flap Gates are made with high quality materials, such as 304L or 316L grade stainless steel, ensuring the best corrosion resistance for a long life in the toughest environments with virtually no maintenance required.
